Anne's diary ends on August 4th 1944. The Grune Polizei made a raid on the "secret Annexe." All the occupants, together with Kraler and Koophuis, were arrested and send to German and Dutch concentration camps.
Of all the occupants of the "secret annexe", Anne's father alone returned. Kraler and Koophui, who with stood the hardships of the Dutch camp, were able to go home to thier families.
In March 1945, two months before the libiration of Holland, Anne died in the in the concentration camp at Bergen-Belsen.

One of the main characters is Anne Frank. At the begining she was a silly girl, who didnt understand much and who just wanted to do wat ever she wanted to. She was daddys favorite, meaning she got everything she wanted. As time went on and they were in hiding Anne's personalitiy changed she began to understand much more things and started to be a little more mature.
Margot, Anne's older sister play a importand part in this book two. Margot at the begining was very smart she was mature and understood what was going on. She was also very pretty and didnt seem to complain as much as Anne did. As time went on, as they were still in hiding Margot didnt really change. She stayed the same teenage girl as she was at the begining of the book.

The setting is in a attic in Amsterdam. Its a small little attic were three families have to live together.The book, Anne Frank the diary of a young girl is about a teenage girl who had to hide in a attic during world war II. Anne Frank came from a jewish family, and during wwII in Germany lots of jews lived in hiding, hiding from the Natzi's. Anne had to leave behind her school, her friends, and the world she knew. Her and her family, her sister Margot, her father Otto, her mother .lived in a attic along with one other family. It seemed very hard at the bigining but over time they git used to each other and they all llived a ok life.
